1/31/20195pm8pm

Published by: ahoward

Venue

Upper East Side Rehabilitation & Nursing Center
211 East 79th Street
New York, NY 10075

Speaker:

Dr. Joel S. Bergman, former Senior Faculty, Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy

In our work with complex family systems we need all the help we can get. Dr Bergman will provide clarity in how to think more systemically and work with difficult to reach and/or stuck families. By presenting your own clinical situations that you feel stuck in, it will not only give you insight into how to move families forward but also add to your own process while you are working with them. Dr. Bergman recommends that you read his book prior to this workshop: Fishing for Barracuda’s which is readily available through Amazon, both new and second hand and to come prepared to present a case with as much multi-generational family history as possible.

Schedule:

  • 5:00-6:00 pm – Networking & Refreshments
  • 6:00-6:30 pm – Chapter Business Meeting
