This program will provide education about home health care through a diversity and inclusion lens. In this lecture, will learn about the structural inequities that create unique challenges for direct care workers and some of the policies and interventions needed to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion. Participants will develop knowledge of the various care models for home health care workers in New York State.

Hosted by: The Bristal at York Ave, New York City and via the ZOOM platform

The program will define, discuss and give examples of microaggressions, stereotypes, unconscious bias, and the challenges faced by home health workers.
